What is your cycling background?
I started racing in college. I was on the ski team at the university of wisconsin and started riding for skiing fitness and found out I was much better at cycling, so I started racing as a cat. 4 in 1984. I was invited to the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs along with around 100 others. We lived 3 to a room in old air force dorms and you had one sheet and one wool blanket.
Anthony is an ex professional road cyclist with 20+ years racing experience, including competing Internationally in North America/Europe for 10 years in more than 1000 events. His experience of sales and marketing worldwide in (Publishing, Cycle Manufacturer and Website/Internet industries) spans more than 10 years.
Today was a good day. After months of planning and never knowing if we were getting anything accomplished, we seemed to have got through it. The Tour D' Organics Portland ride is history, for 2008. It is still to be determined on whether it was good or not so. As a chapter and a team it was a huge success. We came together and got the job done and made our chapter a closer knit group. This may not be visible to anyone but me, so I want to let everyone know; You All did a tremendous job and I thank you for helping me make this ride and chapter work.
