6. Humans need to minimize individual and collective ecological footprints quickly and regenerate the earth’s soil, water, and air for future generations. To do this requires team efforts and all the heart, lung, muscle and brain power available.
7. Sport sponsors should not co-opt athletes as models of health and fitness for unhealthy commercial products, and athletes should endorse socially and environmentally responsible businesses.
8. Athletics can be a deeply spiritual experience and can bring about an ecological mindset that challenges us to see how our part affects the whole earth.
9. We strive to communicate in a non-confrontational and peaceful manner, yet offer clear and common sense information in a way that helps people make lifestyle transitions and furthers every athlete’s quest for optimal health and performance.
