Whoooooo Hooooooo ! I'm freaking hooked on cross. Andy, Justin, Emily, Brian and myself tackle another epic day of cross racing in California. We all know it will be classic, cause 2" of rain dumped on race day, which made a mucky mess just screaming to challenge us. We slip, slide, crash and grind through the deep thick muck, which seems to be oozing from every pore. My second cross race ever has me so jazzed and craving for more of this exhilarating ride. Why does a fifty year old woman decide to race cross?, am I crazy, having a midlife crises, living life to its fullest, maybe a little of all has me moving in a new direction which is rocking my world. Look out youngsters I may be looking at your backs from afar for now, but inch by inch, second by second you will begin to hear me breathing down your back in my subtle approach.

Okay now for results. Yes, Andy makes the podium with 3rd in 45+, Justin 4th in A, Emily moves up to 5th in A, Brian has the best smile on the course, alright he wasn't DFL, and I pull off 4th in C.
