The Washington, DC chapter's first meeting went well- with 12 interested members and more who couldn't make the meeting, we're off to a good start.

We discussed OA membership and clothing, training and racing together, potential events, potential local sponsors, and where we wanted to take the group. Our next meeting is tentatively set for Nov. 2nd, and will be a potluck.

In the meanwhile, be sure join our google group to hook up for group training and to discuss ideas for the group. Don’t forget to register as an Organic Athlete member and check out the team running singlets, tri tops, cycling jerseys, t-shirts, etc.

We still need board members to become an official chapter- email washingtondc@organicathlete.com to volunteer to become a chapter board member. Board members vote in group decisions.
