OA Victoria has finished their track and road season leaving an impressive impression on the local scene. On the track, medals were collected in most events at the Provincial Championships, and some excellent efforts at the Canadian Nationals. Emile DeRosnay won the TrackFest '08 OrganicAthlete Omnium series, and Dave Shishkoff tied for second overall in the TrackFest '08 ATAC Sportswear Madison Tournament. The final road event was the Bastion Square crit a few weeks back, with Kevin Park finishing 4th in the Cat5 race, Dave Shishkoff 3rd in Cat4, Emile DeRosnay taking the race in the Cat3 field (and upgrading to Cat2), and Gillian Carleton winning the Women's 1/2/3 field.  In local results, Dave and Emile also finished at the top in the local racing leages, finishing 3rd and 2nd on the road series, and 1st and 2nd on the track, respectively. 'Cross season is fully underway, and hopefully we'll field riders in several events as well!  We'll also be sending out a notice soon inviting riders for 2009, and hopefully will increase our numbers event more!
