Sports you do: Cycling (Road, 'Cross), Tennis, Kayaking, Running, Swimming, Vollyball; I'd like to try rowing too!

Hardest race/event you’ve ever done: Cyclocross Nationals 2007, only because I did not have my head in the race. I freaked out because of the ice, and rode bad the whole race, crashed a ton, was cold, and it was hard to push myself to just finish. I rode the whole last lap with a flat to add to insult, and wound up unhappy with 12th. I learned though!

Why vegan/veggie in 5 words or less: It feels great!

About yourself in 3-4 sentences: I love racing my bicycle and going fast. I also like doing sports that not many other kids would ever say they would like to do, I enjoy everything I do outdoors though. I love playing music and listening to rock and punk music, I also love studying film. If bike racing doesn't work out in the next 3-4 years, I think I want to get a business major in college (still a few years away), but no matter what I do I'll always be a cyclist!

Reason(s) for joining Organic Athlete: I get to be on a team that has a pure mission statement. It means something to put the colors on every race. I may not have teammates (at my age it doesn't matter much anyway) but unlike some high class junior squads I have no pressure to perform super well at every race to stay on the team. I like having freedom to do the races I want to do, and show off my colors racing for myself.
